Futuristic pop music.

MOGLII is the one-man-project of producer, singer and jazz pianist Simon Ebener Holscher (25). He is living in Düsseldorf / Germany as a student of music. He is creating his unique and significant style out of warm beats, analogue synthesizers and soulful vocal samples. His modern electronic compositions are often supplemented by acoustic instruments and an organic soundscape.

It`s futuristic pop music influenced by the sound of Mura Masa, James Blake, Bon Iver or Flume. His lively and playful tracks are made for big stages as well as for the headphones of an urban-music-enthusiast. A lot of samples are self-made, with the help of field recording of coffee machines, shopping bags or cactuses. He is working together with many different artists like 19-year-old singer NOVAA.

After his collaborating “Down Under EP” in 2016 (Single “Mother” reached #2 on Spotify's Global Viral Charts & 3 million streams), he released his debut solo 7-Track-EP called “Naboo” in 2017 on Majestic Casual Records. In October 2017 Moglii collaborated with Tonio Geugelin on the record 'Schillerize' out on BonFire Records.

In 2016 he started playing live, solo (Reeperbahn Festival 2016, Dockville Festival 2017 ect.) and alongside NOVAA (Lunatic Festival 2017, Juicy Beats Festival 2017 ect). In March 2017 he supported Bergfilm (Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich, Haldern) and OK KID on their spring tour (Hamburg, Hannover, Chemnitz, Vienna, Salzburg, Cologne).

Moglii is also the mastermind of 5-piece band MOGLEBAUM, in which he already played on national and international Festivals (Bulgaria, India, Germany, Netherlands). Their latest single “Raindrops” reached #1 on Spotify's global viral charts in 2016 and more than 1 million streams.
